Step to exit Dark Souls on PC
I understand why people are able to quite as it just return back to the main menu. There’re a few options you can do to completely exit the Dark Souls on PC.
- The one option to exit is by pressing
ALT + F4
keys. By pressing these two button on keyboard, you can close almost any program currently opened in your computer and active. And you can also quit the Dark Souls by simultaneouslyALT + F4
. - You can also stop the game from auto starting on whenever you turn-on your PC. To do that you can go to open
Window menu
> start writingstartup apps
> then click on the startup-apps option > on the right you will see a number of eligible startup-apps with a toggle button, look for the Dark Souls andtoggle-off
the option and then it will exit the game whenever click on that quit button in game menu. - The last option I found on the Reddit and you can try this option if it works, you can also disable the auto-logging to servers on startup to save time when quitting to the title screen. This option is available on System settings for the PS4, not sure if it’s the same for PC or X. Obviously you’ll need to manually connect to the servers everytime on the title menu startup if online is your preferred mode.
